Poverty vs. Divorce
Joesph N. Ducantorty argues that divorce and poverty go together. Ducanto states that the property that has been acquired while two people are married is called marital property. He states that the government pays more attention to the child and not the mother. He tells us that when a parent that pay child support does not pay, will get their drivers license suspended, auto confiscated, and they will not be able to travel out of the United States. He goes on to talk about how child support debt cannot be repaid with loans or grants. Later on in the article he talks about how no state has the same divorce law as another. Lastly he states that one-half of the United States citizens is effected by divorce.
